On our first family trip to Paris, I created a simple guidebook filled with questions and activities for our three kids to write and draw about their experiences. They loved it, and soon other parents were asking where they could get a copy. After years of traveling and two years living as expats in Paris, I finally turned my vision into reality by creating the official Curiocity Travel Guides series.
My background is a patchwork of careers—I’ve been a camp counselor (and will always be one at heart), wilderness guide, yoga teacher, university instructor, and an EMT (which definitely comes in handy when we’re exploring). But my favorite job is sharing my love of adventure (and my humor) with my family. When I’m not writing, I’m tending to my beehives, learning about the fascinating social structure of my hives. I’ll humbly say I have the best honey in Denver!
